Oh, to be young...

I decided to go rummaging through my past. I whipped out my mini DV camera and started going through old tapes. I discovered one boldly labeled 2005, and on it a string of videos I created for a class I was taking at the time.

This one really caught my attention...

Clearly I thought I was clever...

The next video demonstrates my taste for the absurd... and camp!

Billy was a huge coke head.

Once upon a time I wore glasses...

Finally, I found this beautiful, strange, and fragmented video, I shot while on vacation in Israel during the winter of 2005. I recall wanting to capture different archetypes of women, and enlisting my friends as actors. The frame above was taken from this work. I suppose I wanted to portray an 80s power woman - by wearing a tie and a heap load of makeup.

My best friend Tali as a Hollywood starlet? Perhaps a Lolita? I can't fully remember...
