My most recent exhibition After|Math, curated by my friends Sarah Grass, Georgette Maniatis, and myself. I will be showing my latest video The Date, for the first time in the United States.
I was invited to participate in two group exhibitions in Israel, curated by my good friend Noa Cohen.
The First show was called Shmuaa, which is the Hebrew word meaning rumor. The title of the show was meant to invoke the action of spreading news via word of mouth. Noa transformed her home into an interim gallery, intelligently utilizing unique spaces for site specific installations. For example: My Head in a Box video was shown inside a microwave. I also exhibited The Mask Project, along with a series of photographs that illustrated the process of making the work.
Based on the success of Shmuaa, Noa was given a massive space at the Heart of the City Building in Herztlya, where she put together another ambitious undertaking with the exhibition Mitsad Sheni (On The Flip-side). This time I exhibited The Date along side Circuits of Narcissism, an interactive video installation.
In October 2008, I flew to Chicago to participate in the Around the Coyote Fall 2008 Festival. I was given a booth to create within it a display of my work. I chose to show Body/Mirror together with Give Us a Smile!, as well as documentation of the Circuits of Narcissism installation.
Earlier that year, Body/ Mirror was was shown as part of Crystallized Images program selected at the Video_Dumbo as part of the Under the Bride Festival.
